About me

I am a registered psychologist and the founder of Viva Psychology. I bring extensive expertise in addressing a wide range of psychological concerns.

My journey in psychology commenced in 2002 in my native Brazil before I relocated to Australia in 2010. This transition not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my passion for the profession, offering me the opportunity to positively impact lives in diverse settings.

With over seven years of experience as a registered counselor in Australia, I have worked in areas including family and domestic violence, sexual violence, and complex trauma.

In my private practice, I work with addressing a broader spectrum of psychological presentations, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, personality disorders, developmental disorders, relationship issues, and specific concerns pertinent to women such as motherhood and general well-being. My approach remains rooted in client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapies, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.

Central to my ethos is creating a respectful, non-judgmental environment while embracing a holistic approach to emotional healing.

On a personal note, I enjoy practicing pilates, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with my family.
